The main purpose of this post is to use one of every text block type that I want this site to support so that I can test the styling of each of them. While I’m at it, I can also talk a little about the style that I’m going for.
That thing up in the top-left corner of the page is the Fifteenth Standard logo. I designed it myself, and there are a couple of points about its design that I figured I may as well explain here.
I’ve always enjoyed building things as a developer, not necessarily for the end-product, but for the experience of building and the insights this gives you into how things work. This often means that I end up building things that already exist, some of which may seem outwardly to be redundant, some of which may have my own unique twist or perspective built into them, but hopefully all of which contain interesting lessons in the journey of how they were built.
